Zip World Conwy is shutting down, but the company is still expanding at other locations. They appreciate the support from their guests.
Conwy: So, here’s the scoop. Zip World is closing its Conwy site in North Wales. They just announced it, and it’s a bit of a bummer for adventure lovers.
They took over the place last year after Adventure Parc Snowdonia shut down its surf lagoon and indoor activities. Zip World had big plans for the indoor fun and pod accommodations.
This was their fourth spot in North Wales, joining their other locations in Betws-y-Coed, Blaenau Ffestiniog, and Penrhyn Quarry. Even though this closure is a setback, they’re still on the move. Just last week, they revealed a new site in London, set to open on Valentine’s Day.
When they made the closure announcement, they said it wasn’t an easy decision. They really appreciate everyone who visited and made the place special over the years.
If you had plans to visit, don’t worry! They’ll reach out to you with options soon. Plus, they’re excited to welcome you to their other nearby locations for more fun adventures.
Oh, and there’s talk about Global Shred Ventures taking over the Adventure Parc Snowdonia site with a big plan to bring back surfing and even build a snow tunnel. Sounds interesting, right?
