A young dog named Bella has tragically lost her sight after two attacks at home
Llanelli: So, there’s this really sad story about a young dog named Bella. She’s a 14-month-old terrier cross who ended up at Many Tears Animal Rescue. Bella used to be a happy pup, but things took a turn when she was attacked at home, leaving her without sight.
It’s heartbreaking. Bella was attacked by one of the other dogs she lived with, which caused her eye to rupture. They had to remove it. While she was healing, the bigger dog attacked her again, and she lost her other eye too. Can you imagine how tough that must be for her?
Before all this happened, Bella loved going to the beach and was surrounded by love. Now, she’s got to adjust to life without vision, which is a huge change for such a young dog. To make matters worse, her owners decided to rehome her for her safety, and she’s feeling pretty lost in her new surroundings.
Many Tears described Bella as “very noise-sensitive,” and she cries when left alone. It’s just so sad. Right now, she’s being fostered and finds comfort in being around people. They say she’s the definition of a lap dog, always wanting to hop up and shower you with kisses.
But she’s understandably scared of other dogs now and can snap if they get too close. Bella needs a calm home without other dogs, where someone can be around most of the time to help her adjust. She really loves human company and gets upset when left alone.
The rescue is hoping to find her a forever home soon. They want her to be happy again, and who wouldn’t? If you’re interested, you can check out Bella’s adoption page and see all the other dogs looking for homes too.
