Hull: A young and creative business is the first tenant at Priory Park. This new venture is part of a larger development at an industrial site.

Allenby Commercial is behind this project. They offer large-scale design and build opportunities at The Point, located near the Fruit Market. A 14,000 sq ft unit will be ready soon, and they are close to announcing the tenant for half of it.

Charlie Allenby, the development director, shared that the new tenant chose this location for its stylish and energy-efficient design. The building features modern European design and solar panels, earning an EPC A rating.

The new tenant is moving from another spot in East Yorkshire. They were looking for a place that fits their young and creative vibe. Charlie believes their arrival will attract more businesses to the remaining space.

Priory Park opened in the early 1990s. It was one of the first projects by Henry Boot Developments, transforming 150 acres of brownfield land. In 2013, they launched the final phase of development east of The Village Hotel.

Jordan Stokes, a surveyor, noted that this is the last available development space at Priory Park. The area has a mix of local and national businesses, with growing interest from the renewables sector.

The Point is suitable for various sectors. Allenby Commercial is setting new standards in design and build. Priory Park has excellent transport links to the Humber Bridge and national networks.

Allenby Commercial is also transforming the former Europa House into Monocle, which will have 60,000 sq ft of space available this year. They have expanded at Base, a former military depot now home to 75 businesses.

Charlie mentioned that Base is ideal for local and national businesses. A new Tesco Express store has opened there, showing the area’s growth. There is still some space available for industrial use, but demand is high.
