Wycombe’s manager acknowledges Joe Low’s potential move amid interest from Swansea and other clubs
Wycombe: So, the buzz around Joe Low is getting real! Wycombe’s manager, Matt Bloomfield, thinks this guy is on the verge of something big. He’s been playing really well, and it seems like clubs are starting to take notice.
Low has been a solid player for Wycombe, racking up 68 appearances since he joined from Bristol City last summer. And guess what? He used to work with Swansea’s boss, Luke Williams, which makes this whole situation even more interesting.
Swansea is already in talks about bringing him on board. Williams has confirmed that they’ve reached out to Wycombe. But they’re not the only ones interested; Preston and Plymouth are also eyeing him. Reports say he could cost around £750,000.
Before the January window opened, Swansea was already looking for a center-back. With some uncertainty around their current players, it’s clear they need to strengthen their defense. Low is at the top of their list, and they’re feeling optimistic about making a deal happen.
After a recent match, Bloomfield praised Low, saying he’s a hard worker and a great player. He mentioned how they took a chance on him when others thought he wasn’t ready for the Championship. Now, Bloomfield is proud of how far he’s come and believes he’s destined for greater things.
On a side note, it looks like Swansea isn’t pursuing Low’s teammate, Richard Kone, at the moment. Just a little tidbit to keep in mind!
