Bolton: A woman woke up to a shocking situation in her own home. Adam Walton, 36, was found guilty of raping her while she slept. He has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
Police found that Walton had been ordering cocaine and Viagra on the night of the crime. The victim had been out with friends earlier that day, making Halloween decorations when she fell asleep.
When she woke up, Walton was pinning her down. Startled, he fled the scene. The woman quickly called her friend and then her dad, who contacted the police.
Detectives launched an investigation and discovered Walton’s phone messages. He showed no remorse during questioning and made excuses for his actions.
