A 25-year-old woman was arrested in Middlesbrough after police found weapons and a suspected drug stash during a raid
The raid happened on Thursday at a home on Holyrood Court in the Longlands area. They arrested a 25-year-old woman and took away the weapons and drugs, which included what they think is cocaine, cannabis, and even some cannabis edibles.
The local Neighbourhood Team teamed up with a housing agency called Thirteen for this operation. They also found some cash during the raid. The woman is facing some serious charges, including possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs, and even possession of a firearm, which in this case is the pepper spray. She’s now in custody.
Inspector Chris Hartshorne mentioned that drug activity really affects the community, and they’re committed to tackling it. He encouraged anyone with info about drug activity to reach out to Cleveland Police.
Thirteen’s director, Kay Glew, said they’re dedicated to working with the police to handle tenancy issues properly.
