Wetherspoons is set to reduce prices on drinks and food at 750 pubs, starting tomorrow, offering great deals for customers.
This deal kicks off on January 2 and runs until January 16, giving folks a nice window to enjoy some cheap drinks. It’s part of their January sale, with pubs across England and Wales joining in on the fun.
In Scotland, the discounts will start a day later, on January 3, but will also last until January 16. So, you’ve got about two weeks to take advantage of these prices.
You can grab a pint of Ruddles for just £1.29, down from £1.79. And if you fancy a pint of Worthington’s, it’ll only cost you 99p! Other options like Belhaven and Doom Bar are also going for £1.49.
Wine lovers aren’t left out either. Over 650 pubs will offer a glass of Coldwater Creek wine for £2.49. Plus, most places will have low and alcohol-free drinks for just £1.49.
And if you’re nursing a hangover on New Year’s Day, 660 pubs will serve Lavazza coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for £1.29, usually £1.59.
Wetherspoons is also rolling out food deals, with prices starting at £2.99. You can grab a savory muffin or even a burger meal deal.
On average, a meal with a drink will set you back about £6.52, or £4.99 if you go for a non-alcoholic drink.
Tim Martin, the founder, mentioned that it’s a great time for a sale, just like department stores do in January. He’s excited about the variety of drinks and food available, especially the low and non-alcoholic options.
