West Lothian: So, there was this wild incident where a Mercedes got stolen right from someone’s driveway. It happened in Armadale, and it was a white GLC 250D model.

The theft went down around 6 PM on January 8. The car was parked at a home on Baird Road when it vanished. Can you believe that?

Police think it was a keyless theft, which is pretty sneaky. The thieves loaded the car onto a flatbed truck that had these black stripes on it.

Before the theft, folks spotted this flatbed truck in the area around 5 PM. Two guys in high-visibility jackets were also seen hanging around. Sounds suspicious, right?

After the theft, the flatbed truck drove off along Bridgecastle Road towards Armadale Cross. It was still early enough that there were plenty of cars around, so someone might have seen something.

The police are asking anyone who might have noticed anything odd to reach out. They’re also hoping people will check their CCTV or dash-cam footage for any clues.

If you have any info, you can contact Police Scotland at 101 and mention incident number 0710 from January 9, 2025. Let’s hope they catch these thieves!
