The Welsh Government has announced a significant £50 million funding boost for education, aimed at improving standards and infrastructure across Wales in 2024-25.

Part of the funding includes £20 million through the School Standards Grant, which boosts the total support package to a whopping £180 million for the next year.
There’s also £10 million earmarked for additional learning needs (ALN) support, ensuring that children and young people get the help they need.
And let’s not forget about repairs! Another £20 million will go towards fixing up schools and colleges, on top of the £30 million already allocated this year.
