West Midlands Police are appealing for information after a woman was robbed of a large sum of cash in Walsall just before Christmas
Walsall: So, there was this incident in Walsall town centre where a woman had a significant amount of cash stolen from her. It happened on December 19 around 10am.
She had just taken out a good chunk of money from a cash machine. After that, she crossed the street to pop into another shop, and that’s when someone snatched the cash from her handbag.
The police are really keen to find out more about this. They’ve released CCTV images of a woman they want to talk to regarding the theft. They’re asking if anyone recognizes her.
They said, “If you were in the area or know who she is, please reach out to us.” It’s a bit concerning, especially with Christmas just around the corner.
