Chesterfield: A man is in serious trouble after a shocking attack in a pub garden. He was stabbed multiple times with a Stanley knife, which is just awful.

This all went down at the Woodside pub on April 13, 2023. The victim, in his 30s, was first headbutted before the stabbing started. Can you believe that?

Two other guys helped the attackers after the incident. One hid the knife in a car, while another drove them away. It’s like something out of a bad movie.

The poor guy was rushed to Northern General Hospital in Sheffield. He had to undergo emergency surgery and even needed a blood transfusion. Talk about a close call!

Now, he’s left with some serious scars on his face. It’s just heartbreaking to think about what he’s going through.

As for the attackers, they were caught later. One guy, Basnett, got five years in prison for wounding with intent. The other, Davies, got five years and ten months for the same thing plus having a knife in public.

Two others who helped them out got suspended sentences and community service. It’s good to see some justice, but it’s still a tough situation for the victim.

Detective Sullivan said that without the medical team’s quick action, things could have been much worse. It’s a reminder of how serious these situations can be.

Let’s hope the victim can recover and find some peace after this terrible experience.
