Grangemouth: A van and a car went up in flames after a terrible crash on Friday night. It all happened around 9:30 PM when a white Citroen Nemo van collided with a grey Suzuki SX4 and a black Hyundai Tucson.

The accident took place on Beancross Road, and it was pretty chaotic. The van and the Suzuki caught fire, and emergency crews rushed to the scene. The drivers of both the van and the Suzuki, aged 29 and 32, were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.

Thankfully, their injuries aren’t life-threatening. The 37-year-old woman driving the Hyundai was also taken to Forth Valley Hospital, but we don’t know how she’s doing yet.

Police had to close the road for about nine hours to investigate what happened. They’re asking anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage to come forward.

Sergeant Fraser Easton mentioned they’re still looking into the full details of the incident. If you have any info, you can reach out to them at 101, quoting reference 3371 from January 10, 2025.
