Cannock: Police are sounding the alarm for campervan drivers after a rise in thefts in the area. They want everyone to keep their eyes peeled.

Recently, a grey Ford Transit campervan was stolen from a property in Rugeley. It happened between January 5 and 6, and the thieves didn’t even need the keys!

This campervan had a black roof and the word ‘Gemini’ on it, so if you see it, let the police know. There was also a close call in Cannock Wood where thieves were caught trying to start another van.

Witnesses reported seeing a man bolt from the scene and hop into a car with someone waiting for him. It’s a bit wild, right? The police are asking anyone with info to reach out.

If you know anything about the Rugeley theft, call 101 and mention incident number 261 from January 6. For the Cannock Wood incident, use number 542 from January 2. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
