Hull City Council is reviewing several planning applications, including a fish factory upgrade and new electric car charging stations.
Hull: The city is buzzing with new planning applications. Hull City Council is looking at several proposals, including upgrades to a local fish factory.
Copernus Ltd., a fish supplier, wants to improve its factory on West Dock Street. They plan to build a new three-storey office and expand the warehouse.
Another application is for Southcoates Primary School in East Hull. They want to fix part of the roof to meet safety regulations. This work will temporarily remove the kitchen’s ventilation system.
There’s also a proposal for electric car charging stations. Seven stations are planned for the car park south of Margaret Street. Five will be rapid chargers, and two will be fast chargers.
Lastly, the Venn Boulevard Centre, a Grade-II listed building, is set for restoration. The work aims to fix damp and mould issues while keeping the building’s original look.
