Woolwich: So, there were two stabbings in Woolwich, London, just a day apart, and the police say they’re not linked. The first one happened on Monday, and the second one was on Tuesday. They’re about 1.2 miles apart, which isn’t too far.

The first stabbing was near Shooters Hill Sixth Form College around 4:20 PM. A Year 12 student is in critical condition, which is really concerning.

Then, the second incident occurred on Woolwich Church Street at about 2:30 PM. A 14-year-old boy sadly died after being stabbed on a bus. It’s just awful. Right now, no arrests have been made, but the police are looking into it.

Because of this, several bus routes are being diverted, including the 161, 177, 180, and 472. Woolwich Church Street is also closed in both directions, making things a bit tricky for everyone.

If anyone saw what happened or has any info, they should definitely reach out to the police at 101. They’ve got reference numbers for both incidents, so it’s easy to help out. And if someone wants to stay anonymous, they can contact Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
