Two men face attempted murder charges following a shooting that left a man injured in Hartlepool
Hartlepool: So, there’s been a serious incident in Hartlepool where two guys are in big trouble. They’ve been charged with attempted murder after a shooting left a man hurt.
This all kicked off on January 2 when the police got reports about gunfire on Garside Drive. They found a man with what looked like gunshot wounds. Yikes!
Now, a 20-year-old is facing some heavy charges, including attempted murder and having a firearm without a license. He’s also in hot water for drug-related stuff and even for having a knife. The other guy, just 19, is also charged with attempted murder.
Both of them are stuck in custody and are set to appear in court soon. Meanwhile, a few other folks who were arrested for possibly helping them out have been let go on bail while the police keep digging into what happened.
There were loads of police cars at the scene, and they put up a big cordon while they investigated. The police assured everyone that there’s no ongoing threat to the public, which is a relief.
It’s a pretty wild situation, and we’ll have to see how it all unfolds in court.
