Buckhurst Hill: It’s such a sad story. A lovely woman named Ruth, 65, lost her life in a car crash on Christmas Eve. People are saying she was vibrant and wonderful, truly cherished by everyone who knew her.

She was hit by a car on Palmerston Road early that morning and sadly didn’t make it. Her family shared how special she was, calling her the cornerstone of their family. They’re heartbroken over her sudden passing.

Ruth worked at Liberty of London and was known for her dedication. Her family said no words could really express how much she meant to them. She leaves behind a loving husband, siblings, and nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

In connection with her death, a 20-year-old man and two teenagers have been arrested but are currently on bail. Detective Sergeant Sam Nason is urging anyone with information or footage of a grey Jaguar XJ around the time of the crash to come forward.

It’s a tough time for her family and friends, and they’re getting support from specialists. Let’s hope they find the answers they need.
