A young Celtic supporter has tragically died, leaving friends and family heartbroken as they plan a tribute at an upcoming game
Glasgow: It’s such a sad story. A young Celtic fan named David Tucker lost his life just a few days into the New Year. He was only 28 years old.
His friends and family are completely heartbroken. One of his close friends, Stephanie Mitchell, is organizing a tribute during the next Celtic game on January 5 against St Mirren.
David was a huge fan of the Hoops, and many people have shared their memories of him. Chloe Moonchild said, “Rest in peace Davie,” while Stacy Ryan expressed how heartbreaking it is to lose someone so young.
Stephanie even posted on Facebook, hoping to reach as many people as possible. She mentioned wanting to do a minute’s clap at the 28th minute of the game, which is a nod to David’s age.
His sister, Lynsey Ann, thanked everyone for their support, saying David loved Celtic all his life. It’s clear he made a big impact on those around him.
Johnny McFarlane also shared his condolences, saying, “Rest in peace, Tucker bro, you are at peace now.” It’s a tough time for everyone who knew him.
