Visitors to Snowdonia National Park were amazed by a hidden infinity pool
Gwynedd: There’s nothing quite like a good hike, especially in Wales. The scenery is just breathtaking. Recently, a group of tourists hit up Snowdonia National Park and were totally blown away by what they stumbled upon.
So, here’s the scoop: if you wander around the area, you might just find something pretty cool hidden in the hills. A TikTok video from ukhiddengems showed off this amazing spot, and it’s definitely a sight to see.
Turns out, if you look closely, there’s an infinity pool waiting for you. Imagine taking a dip while soaking in the stunning Welsh landscape. That’s a serious upgrade to your outdoor adventure!
In the video, you can see folks enjoying the pool, surrounded by gorgeous views. It looks like a slice of paradise, and people are loving it. But, of course, someone had to ask how anyone could swim in January!
Even though some call it a “secret pool,” it’s not really a secret anymore. Once people caught wind of it, they started flocking there for those perfect Instagram shots.
Fun fact: this infinity pool was actually built by a local farmer, Wyn Mostyn Jones, back in 2016 as part of a green energy project. He spent around £400,000 on it, and it was never meant to be a tourist hotspot.
Since then, he’s been amazed at how many people are visiting his private land near the Llanberis Pass. His family has been working the land since the 1940s, so it’s a big deal for them.
Mr. Jones shared with North Wales Live that he didn’t expect such a response but totally gets why people are drawn to the place. The views are incredible, and it’s just so peaceful and beautiful.
