California wildfires force celebrities to flee their homes in Pacific Palisades as flames spread rapidly through Los Angeles
Los Angeles: Wildfires are wreaking havoc in the area, and it’s serious. Celebrities were told to get out fast as flames tore through Pacific Palisades.
These fires are no joke. They’re fueled by strong winds, and emergency crews are scrambling to control the situation. Tom Hanks and Ben Affleck are among those who’ve had to evacuate.
Other stars like Reese Witherspoon and Adam Sandler also live nearby, and they’re feeling the heat too. James Woods even shared some scary footage of the flames on Instagram while he was leaving.
The fires started Tuesday night and spread quickly. People were told to flee, and many had to abandon their cars and run to safety. It’s chaotic out there.
Firefighters are working hard, but they’re running low on water and supplies. The flames are moving at an alarming rate, burning through land like it’s nothing.
Affleck was seen looking worried after checking on his place before leaving. He’s been renting in Pacific Palisades since his split from Jennifer Lopez. Sadly, the fires have also led to the cancellation of several Hollywood events.
Right now, about 30,000 residents are under evacuation orders, and more might need to leave soon. The fire near Eaton Canyon has already grown to 600 acres.
LA’s fire chief said the blaze has expanded to over 1,260 acres, and it’s still growing. The winds and dry brush are making it tough for firefighters.
There are around 250 firefighters on the scene, but the fires are causing chaos in the movie industry too. The premiere of the Robbie Williams biopic was canceled due to the dangerous conditions.
Other Hollywood premieres, including one for Jennifer Lopez’s new film, have also been called off. Even the SAG Awards nominee announcement was scrapped for safety reasons.
