Bristol: So, three folks just showed up in court, right? They’re charged with helping the teenagers who killed Max and Mason last January. It’s a pretty serious deal.

These three are facing two counts each for assisting an offender. They allegedly helped out right after the murders went down in Knowle West.

We’ve got Ellie Maddocks and Dominic Smith, both 25, from Westbury-on-Trym, and then there’s Marcus Williams, who’s 31 and from Hartcliffe. They’re all in the same boat with these charges.

The court heard that Maddocks and Smith let two of the teens, Kodi Wescott and a 16-year-old, crash at their place. They even drove them to some unknown spot in Weston-super-Mare. This all happened between January 27 and 30.

As for Marcus, his charges are linked to Riley Tolliver, who’s 18. It’s said he drove Tolliver to a location in Weston-super-Mare before January 29. Tolliver’s already been found guilty of the murders.

The judge laid out the charges, saying they acted to help someone who committed murder. The three didn’t say much in court, just confirmed their names and stuff. They plan to deny the charges, though.

Max and Mason’s family was there, watching closely. The judge said their case will move to Bristol Crown Court for a plea and trial prep hearing on February 10. They’re out on bail for now.

Last year, five people were found guilty of killing Max and Mason. The two friends were tragically stabbed outside Mason’s home late on January 27.

Some of the people involved in the case have already been sentenced. Two others, Bailey Wescott and Jamie Ogbourne, got five years for helping the teens after the murders.
