A Hull couple is devastated after thieves stole their garden shed in a brazen daylight raid
Hull: So, there’s this wild story about a couple who had their shed stolen right from their garden. Can you believe it? Thieves just walked in and took it!
It all went down on a chilly Monday night. The CCTV footage shows two guys casually picking through the shed, deciding what to take. They even opened the gate like they owned the place!
Steve Foster, the homeowner, didn’t even realize it until the next day. His wife opened the curtains and said, “The shed’s gone!” Talk about a shocker!
Steve described the whole thing as “unbelievable.” He thought they were safe behind their 7ft fence. But these thieves clearly had a plan. They probably scoped it out beforehand.
What’s worse is that this has really upset his wife, who’s already dealing with health issues. She’s been in and out of the hospital, and now this has made her anxiety even worse.
They had made the garden nice and accessible for her, and now it feels like a violation. Steve bought that shed for about £230 just three years ago, and now it’s gone!
These thieves even cut around the base of the shed, leaving a hole in the ground. Steve’s now thinking about how to secure the next one so it doesn’t happen again.
He suspects one of the thieves climbed over the fence to let the other in. It’s just so brazen! Steve is convinced someone must have seen them walking away with the shed.
