Max George is back in the hospital due to a strange sensation in his chest following heart surgery and a pacemaker fitting
Glasgow: Max George is sharing some concerning news about his health. After having heart surgery, he’s feeling a weird “flicking” sensation in his chest and is heading back to the hospital for a check-up.
The 36-year-old singer had a pacemaker put in just before Christmas after doctors found an issue with his heart. He thought everything was fine until this strange feeling popped up on the left side of his chest.
Max has been keeping his fans in the loop through social media. In a recent Instagram video, he asked his followers if anyone else with a pacemaker has felt something similar. He’s clearly looking for some advice since the doctors aren’t quite sure what’s going on.
He mentioned that he’s been doing some research on pacemakers because this whole situation caught him off guard. Max is hoping it’s just a nerve issue that will sort itself out, but he’s open to any tips or experiences his fans might have.
Before this, he had shared that he was in the hospital for about two and a half hours for the surgery. He even posted a picture of his scar, which is just below a tattoo dedicated to his late bandmate, Tom Parker. Max expressed his gratitude to the NHS staff for their incredible care during his surgery.
After leaving the hospital last week, he felt a bit worn out but was relieved to be home. He’s got a few more tests to go through, but he’s staying positive and ready to tackle whatever comes next.
