During a lively discussion on The One Show, Alex Jones’ cheeky ‘throuple’ remark left guests in stitches and viewers surprised
London: So, there was this funny moment on The One Show when Alex Jones made a comment about “throuples.” It totally caught everyone off guard!
They were chatting about the upcoming drama The Split, and stars Nicola Walker and Stephen Mangan were there to promote it. Then, presenter Roman Kemp brought up their new play Unicorn.
When Nicola described the play, she mentioned a happily married couple who consider adding someone else to their relationship. That’s when Alex jumped in with her cheeky remark: “Well, you never know…”
The studio erupted in laughter! You could see the surprise on everyone’s faces, especially Alan Carr, who was just like, “Wow. OK.” It was such an unexpected twist!
Alex tried to steer the conversation back to the play, but the laughter lingered. Amanda Holden even joked about Alan auditioning for a role in the play. It was all in good fun!
Stephen chimed in, saying it’s a bit weird for kids to see their parents in a play where they’re “married” to someone else. It’s definitely a unique situation!
Catch The One Show on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One and iPlayer if you want to see more of these hilarious moments!
