Whitelock had a pretty rough past. He was out on license after serving time for murder and manslaughter. After mixing some street Valium with alcohol, he attacked Wendy, who was 71 and just trying to help him out.
Wendy had been kind enough to find him odd jobs around her house. But for some reason, he turned on her in August 2022. The judge mentioned there was a “sexual element” to the crime, which is just chilling.
Now, he’s got a whole-life sentence, meaning he’ll never get out. The police are relieved about the sentence, saying it’s fitting given the destruction he caused. Wendy’s family has been through so much pain because of his actions.
