Teesside: Get ready to light up the night and support a great cause! Teesside Hospice is calling on everyone to join their 11km Midnight Walk. It’s all about remembering loved ones while raising funds for charity.

The walk kicks off on Saturday, March 22, starting from Redcar and Cleveland College. Participants will stroll along the seafront, heading down Coast Road to Marske and back. It’s a lovely way to spend the night with friends and family.

Last year, the event was a huge success, raising an impressive £80,000 with over 700 walkers. The hospice aims to help families create lasting memories, and this walk is a perfect opportunity to do just that.

By taking part, you’ll be supporting those with life-limiting illnesses in Teesside. The hospice needs around £6 million a year to keep its services running, which is about £17,000 every day. Every penny raised from the walk goes directly to helping those in need.

As the demand for specialized palliative care grows, especially among younger people with complex conditions, your participation can make a real difference. The hospice focuses on personalized care, helping people stay in control of their lives and create meaningful experiences.

For just £10, you can join in on the fun! Your entry includes a free remembrance T-shirt, flashing head boppers, a medal, hot food, drinks, and entertainment. It’s a fantastic deal for a night of fun and remembrance.

If you’re interested, sign up today by emailing fundraising@teessidehospice.co.uk or visiting their website at teessidehospice.org. Let’s make this event unforgettable!
