Birmingham: A teenager was stabbed in Ward End Park, and it all went down just an hour after a schoolboy named Leo Ross was killed in a separate attack. The police and paramedics, including an air ambulance, rushed to the scene around 4:05 PM on January 21.

The medical team worked quickly to treat the injured teen right there in the park before taking him to the hospital for more care. West Midlands Police are looking into the situation and have been contacted for more details.

Earlier that same day, around 3:15 PM, Leo Ross, just 12 years old, was fatally stabbed on a path off Scribers Lane in Hall Green. He was described as a lovely and bright kid, and sadly, he was pronounced dead in the hospital about four hours later.

Detectives have arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of Leo’s murder, and he’s still in police custody as of January 23. It’s a tough time for the community, and everyone is hoping for answers soon.
