A post mortem reveals that a 16-year-old boy drowned in a lake in Cambridge
Cambridge: A tragic incident unfolded when a 16-year-old boy named Dishone Lloyd drowned in a local lake. He was hanging out with friends at Burnside Lakes on August 12, 2024, when he suddenly went missing.
His body was discovered the next day, and sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after. During the inquest, the coroner revealed that the cause of death was drowning, confirmed by a post mortem at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Dishone was a student at Mark Hall Academy in Harlow, Essex. His headteacher, Matt Carter, shared heartfelt words about him, calling him a cherished member of the school community. Just ten days after his disappearance, he was set to receive his GCSE results.
Mr. Carter expressed how Dishone brought joy and positivity to everyone around him. He highlighted that Dishone had just completed his secondary education and had a bright future ahead. This sudden loss serves as a painful reminder of how fragile life can be.
