A teenager attacked a man at a bus station after an argument that began online, resulting in serious injuries
Leicester: So, there was this wild scene at St Margaret’s Bus Station. A teenager, Chad Roberts-Richards, got into a fight with another guy after some online beef. It was all caught on CCTV, and let me tell you, it was shocking.
This went down around 12:30 PM on a Wednesday. Chad, who’s 19, just lost it and broke the guy’s finger. He even kicked him while he was down! A woman tried to step in, but Chad just walked away like nothing happened.
The victim, who didn’t get charged with anything, tried to confront Chad with an A-board but ended up just walking away. Crazy, right?
In court, the prosecutor laid it all out. The headbutt caused a bump, and the guy’s finger was broken. Ouch! Chad’s lawyer said he felt really bad about it. Apparently, they met up to settle things face-to-face, but it went south fast.
Chad’s lawyer mentioned he has ADHD and is being checked for possible schizophrenia. The magistrates thought this was serious enough to delay the case for a pre-sentence report. Chad pleaded guilty to assault, and now he’s waiting to find out what happens next.
