Colchester: A teenage boy was attacked during an attempted robbery. This happened on Tuesday, January 21, on Canterbury Road after he and a friend left a nearby location.
A group of four boys chased him. They had been sitting at a blue metal shelter. They tried to grab the boy’s bag but ran away empty-handed.
The boy ended up with several cuts on his face. The attackers were dressed in all black. One was wearing a blue puffer jacket and had a freshly shaven head, standing about 5ft 8ins tall.
