The Food Warehouse, operated by Iceland, may replace an old store pending Somerset Council approval, bringing more food options to Taunton.
Someone filed a plan with Somerset Council. They want to replace two signs on poles, and display two graphics inside. The signs will mark the store’s entrance and exit. Another sign would go on the retail park pole.
The Food Warehouse started back in 2014. Now, they have 150 stores all over the country. Somerset already has four of these stores, found in Street, Yeovil, Bridgwater and Worle.
They sell frozen, fresh, and dry foods. They even have some homeware items. They carry the same stuff as Iceland, plus some international brands.
They have some brands you only find there. Greggs and Ed’s Diner are some examples, along with Slimming World and TGI Friday’s. You can find Del Monte and Harry Ramsden’s too.
Somerset Council planning people check plans first. After review, they approve or deny.
