Swansea: A little fire broke out in a storage cupboard at Sketty Primary School. It happened on Wednesday, January 8, and everyone had to evacuate quickly.
Fire crews from Swansea West and Swansea Central rushed to the scene. Luckily, the building’s sprinkler system did most of the work, putting out the flames.
Firefighters were there for about an hour, making sure everything was safe. The school was back to normal the next day, with no disruptions, which is a relief.
The fire service said they got the call around 2:55 PM. The fire was small and contained, so it didn’t cause much damage.
According to the school, all the kids and staff followed the fire drill perfectly and got out safely. They used other classrooms and the hall for lessons the next day.
