Richmond: It’s a heartbreaking story. Oliver White, the manager of a jewellers, took his own life after a robbery where over £1.38 million worth of watches were stolen. The court heard he was tied up during the heist, which is just awful.

Two men, Junior Kunu and Mannix Pedro, are facing charges related to this robbery. They allegedly had a hand in planning it, with Kunu entering the shop while Pedro was involved behind the scenes. It all went down on May 25 last year.

During the trial, the prosecutor shared that the day after the robbery, Oliver tragically took his life. His family said he was completely traumatized by what happened. They described him as a bright light in their lives, and it’s just so sad to think about the pain they’re going through.

It seems the robbery was planned for a while. The conspirators had contacted Oliver through social media months before. Just two days before the actual robbery, they even visited the shop under the guise of wanting to buy watches. It’s chilling to think about how calculated this was.

Sadly, none of the stolen watches have been found. Kunu and Pedro are denying the charges, and the trial is still ongoing. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
