A school in Staffordshire locked down today. An ex-student entered Chase Terrace Academy. This happened around noon in Burntwood.

The person didn’t leave, so the school called police. They started the lockdown process quickly. Staffordshire Police got there fast and removed the student. Now, that person is no longer nearby.

School officials sent letters and assured parents kids were never in danger.

Tensions increased since a teen died. Harvey Willgoose was killed in Sheffield. He was stabbed at All Saints school Monday just after midday.

Also, Birches Head Academy had a partial lockdown because of emails on Monday. At least six Stoke schools got threats.

The headteacher sent a note to parents. It explained that what occurred at noon today involved an ex-student refusing to leave the building.

The school locked down to ensure student safety. Staff kept students secure in classrooms. The headteacher said no students faced danger and the situation stayed in the reception area.

Police came and removed the ex-student fast. The school acted to prevent any risks. The headteacher confirmed no further danger exists.
