Southport: A former prisoner has some chilling insights about Axel Rudakubana. He believes this child-killer will be a prime target in HMP Belmarsh.

Rudakubana, just 18, is serving a minimum 52-year sentence for the horrific murders of three young girls. He was only 17 when he committed these crimes, which is why he didn’t get a full-life sentence.

Ricky Killeen, a former inmate, shared that Rudakubana could face attacks from other prisoners. He mentioned something called “prison napalm,” a nasty mix of hot water and sugar that can cause severe burns.

Killeen runs a YouTube channel about prison life and says even lesser offenders might want to attack Rudakubana for the street cred and potential drug rewards.

Rudakubana is already in isolation, but the threats against him are serious. Killeen believes he’ll be targeted throughout his time in prison.

When police searched Rudakubana’s home, they found alarming items, including an Al-Qaeda training manual and materials for making a biological weapon. He pleaded guilty to these charges, which adds to the danger he poses.

HMP Belmarsh is known as one of the toughest prisons in the UK. Experts say the prison will keep a close watch on him to decide if he should stay there or be moved.

Ian Acheson, a former prison governor, pointed out that child killers are at the bottom of the prison hierarchy, making Rudakubana a high-risk target.

Steve Gillan from the Prison Officers Association acknowledged the risks but noted that the Prison Service has dealt with similar cases before.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves has called for a thorough public inquiry into the events leading to the Southport stabbings, emphasizing the need for accountability and prevention of future incidents.
