Aberdeen: A frantic search is on for two sisters who went missing after being spotted on CCTV just after 2am. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last seen in the city center.

The sisters were caught on camera in Market Street at Victoria Bridge around 2:12am on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. They crossed the bridge and headed right onto a footpath by the River Dee, moving toward the Aberdeen Boat Club.

Both sisters are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce mentioned that specialized units are actively searching the area where the sisters were last seen. They’re using police dogs and the marine unit to assist in the search.

He also asked local businesses near the South Esplanade and Menzies Road to check their CCTV footage from that early morning. Any dashcam footage could also be helpful.

Authorities are reaching out to friends and family of Eliza and Henrietta, hoping someone might have seen them or know where they could be. If you have any information, please contact the police.
