Bradford: A man named Khuram Hussain, 36, has been in the news for some pretty unsettling behavior. After spending eight months in jail, he’s now on a community order for stalking a woman he briefly dated back in 2017.

The court heard that between September 2023 and April last year, Hussain would show up at her house late at night, blasting music and calling her up to 40 times a day. That’s just wild! He even made threats to kidnap her, which is beyond creepy.

Initially, he denied everything, claiming she was making it all up. But when it came time for his trial, he finally admitted to the stalking. The woman shared how his actions had really taken a toll on her, making her feel isolated and worn down.

Hussain has a history of trouble with the law, including drugs and violence. He spent 240 days in remand before his sentencing. His lawyer argued that he’s changed and feels genuine remorse now. His family backed him up, saying he’s calmer and has quit drugs.

The judge, Ahmed Nadim, didn’t hold back. He called Hussain deceitful and manipulative, warning him that he’d face serious consequences if he messed up again. He’s on a 30-month community order and has a 10-year restraining order against contacting the victim. Let’s hope he takes this chance seriously.
