Malvern: So, there’s this guy, Craig Sawyer, who just got banned from all Boots stores. He stole a whopping £28,000 worth of stuff! Can you believe it?

He was caught after a spree that included 16 thefts, mostly from Boots. This guy was all over the place, hitting stores in Evesham, Malvern, Walsall, and even Shrewsbury. Talk about a busy thief!

He got nabbed at a Co-op in Malvern and ended up with a 42-week prison sentence. Plus, he’s got a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order. That means he can’t even step foot in Worcestershire or any Boots store for five years!

People said he liked to change his look, dyeing his hair and wearing glasses. He always carried this brown shoulder bag, which is how he got the nickname ‘Satchel Man.’ Pretty clever, right?

When he was sentenced, they also added more time for some earlier thefts. The police are pretty happy about this, saying it helps protect local shops. They worked closely with store staff to catch him, which really paid off.

It’s wild how he managed to pull this off for so long, but now he’s facing the music. Let’s hope this sends a message to other would-be shoplifters!
