Birches Head: A gang ambushed a bin wagon, and it was all caught on camera. The dashcam footage shows Joe Corden jumping out of his car and attacking a bin man. He punched him three times in the face. It was shocking to watch.

Three council workers tried to reason with Corden. But he just got angrier. He even grabbed a school crossing sign from his car and smashed it into the bin wagon as it tried to escape.

Later, Corden returned with three friends. They attacked another bin crew, who had no idea what was happening. The gang ran at them with weapons, forcing one worker to jump back into the truck.

One crew member got hit with a baton, while another was attacked as he fell over a wheelie bin. The gang was armed with a baton, hatchet, and axe. It was chaotic.

At one point, someone even fired a gun at the wagon, but that part wasn’t on camera. The driver of the first bin lorry was hurt and needed hospital treatment.

In court, Corden, Spackman, and Worthington are waiting to be sentenced. They all pleaded guilty to various charges, including assault and possession of weapons.

The trouble started after a near collision between Corden’s car and the bin wagon. After the first attack, Corden got his friends to help him ambush the second wagon.

They used a sledgehammer, axe, and other weapons. Worthington even fired a gun at the wagon. The case will continue in February, and all three men are in custody.

A youth involved was already sentenced to a three-year rehabilitation order. It’s a serious situation for everyone involved.
