Seven individuals have been detained following a shooting incident in Hartlepool, leaving a man hospitalized with serious injuries
Hartlepool: So, there was this serious incident where seven people got arrested after a shooting. A man was hurt pretty badly and is now in the hospital.
This all kicked off after Cleveland Police got reports about gunfire on Garside Drive. It happened on a Thursday afternoon, and the poor guy suffered some gunshot wounds.
The police have arrested five guys, aged between 19 and 32, and two women, aged 34 and 54. They’re all still in custody while the investigation is ongoing.
From what I hear, the injured man is in his thirties and is getting treatment in the hospital. The police have set up a big cordon around the area, and there were loads of their vehicles on the scene.
They’ve been checking out different addresses as part of their investigation. Thankfully, they’ve said there’s no wider threat to the public, which is a relief.
A witness mentioned that the police were all over Garside Drive, and it looked pretty serious with armed officers arriving at the scene.
