The search for twin sisters Eliza and Henrietta Huszti continues as police concentrate efforts near an icy river in Aberdeen
The sisters were seen crossing the Victoria Bridge and heading towards the River Dee. Right now, the police are focusing their search efforts around that icy river area.
Special teams, police dogs, and even the marine unit have been involved in the search. It’s a big deal since the sisters are part of a set of triplets and originally from Hungary.
Their brother, Jozsef, mentioned that their mom spoke to them just last Saturday, and everything seemed fine.
Police Scotland is working closely with their counterparts in Hungary to keep the family updated. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce expressed how worried the family is and reassured them that they’re doing everything possible to find the sisters.
They’re asking anyone who might have seen something to come forward, especially if they were in the area around the time the sisters went missing. They’re also hoping local businesses will check their CCTV footage for any clues.
If you have any information, no matter how small it seems, please reach out. Every little bit helps in this urgent search.
