Aberdeen: The search for Eliza and Henrietta Huszti is still going strong. The sisters, both 32, were last spotted on CCTV near Market Street at about 2:12 AM on January 7, 2025.

After crossing the bridge, they headed towards a footpath by the River Dee, moving toward the Aberdeen Boat Club. It’s a tough situation, and the police are pulling out all the stops.

They’ve got helicopters, dogs, and marine units on the case, working alongside other emergency services. Officers are sticking around while they search the coast toward the Port of Aberdeen and Duthie Park.

Police are also in touch with authorities in Hungary, where the sisters are from, to help their family during this tough time. They’re checking CCTV from the area and talking to local businesses to gather more info.

So far, there’s no sign that Eliza and Henrietta left the area. They’re described as white, slim, and have long brown hair. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce is really concerned for their safety.

He’s urging anyone who might have seen something to come forward. Even if it seems small, it could help. They’re especially asking businesses near South Esplanade and Menzies Road to check their CCTV from that early morning.

If you have dashcam footage or any info, you can reach out to the police at 101, quoting incident number 0735 from January 7, 2025. Let’s hope they find the sisters safe and sound soon.
