Liverpool: The Traitors is back for its third season on the BBC, and it’s got some lively contestants from Liverpool. Dan Bird, a bank risk manager, and Minah Shannon, a call centre manager, are ready to play among 25 contestants.

Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the show takes place in a Scottish castle. Contestants face challenges that test their skills in deception and trust, all while aiming for a prize of up to £120,000.

In this game, some players are ‘traitors’ who must secretly eliminate others without being caught. Meanwhile, the ‘faithful’ try to identify and banish the traitors. If a traitor makes it to the end, they can take home the entire prize.

In the first episode, Minah, 29, confidently shared her knack for reading people. She said, “I’m very rarely wrong about people because I take time to just watch people out the window.” Chosen as a traitor, she’s ready to do whatever it takes to win, even if it means sending someone home. She wants to show her daughter that anything is possible.

Dan, 33, plans to stay loyal. He mentioned how his autism helps him not worry too much about fitting in. He’s excited to use his “Scouse charm” in the game, saying he can switch between being charming and calculating.

Together, Minah and Dan are among 23 contestants vying for that tempting £120,000 prize. The BBC promises a thrilling new series, but who will outsmart the rest and claim the cash?
