Ellesmere Port: So, there was this incident where a schoolgirl got hit by a car. It happened around 3:51 PM on Tuesday. The police got called out to Sutton Way after reports of a crash.

When they got there, they found out a 13-year-old girl had been hit by a Red Citroen C4. The driver, a 33-year-old guy from the area, was involved too. Luckily, the girl only had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital just to be safe.

She’s already been discharged, which is a relief. No one has been arrested yet, but the police are looking for anyone who might have seen what happened. They’re also asking for any CCTV or dashcam footage that could help them figure things out.

Inspector Anton Sullivan from the Roads and Crime Unit mentioned that while the girl didn’t have serious injuries, the weather could have made things worse. He’s really hoping anyone who saw the crash will reach out. If you have any info, you can call 101 or check out the Cheshire Police website for more details.
