Newport High School faced a lockdown following an alleged assault on teachers by a former student
Newport: So, there was this crazy situation at Newport High School. They had to lock down the school because a former student allegedly attacked some teachers. It all went down on a Tuesday, and emergency services rushed to the scene.
Three teachers were hurt, and while two had just minor injuries, one had to go to the hospital just to be safe. The school quickly kicked into gear with their emergency procedures, locking everything down to keep the kids safe.
