Robbie Williams had an awkward moment at his New Year’s Eve gig in Australia, calling out a fan for their offbeat singing during the performance.
Melbourne: So, there was this pretty awkward moment when Robbie Williams called out a fan during his New Year’s Eve show in Australia. Can you believe it? The guy was just trying to sing along, but Robbie wasn’t having it.
He was performing to ring in 2025, and everything was going great until one fan’s timing went totally off. Robbie, who’s been riding high with his new biopic, Better Man, looked a bit annoyed. He actually stopped the show to tell the fan, “You made me come in the wrong place.” Ouch!
But it wasn’t all serious. After that little hiccup, he got the crowd going with a chant of “Aussie, Aussie, Aussie,” and they loved it. He played a bunch of his hits, like ‘Let Me Entertain You’ and ‘Angels,’ and even threw in a surprise cover of John Farnham’s ‘You’re The Voice.’
Robbie’s got a big year ahead, too. He’s hitting the road for a tour in 2025, and he couldn’t resist promoting his new CGI movie during the show. He joked about it being the “movie of the century,” which got a good laugh. It’s all in good fun, but you’ve got to love how he keeps things lively on stage!
