A Scots teen was left terrified after a road rage incident shattered her windscreen
Edinburgh: A young woman in Scotland had a pretty scary experience recently. She was driving when a guy behind her got really angry and ended up punching her windscreen.
This 18-year-old had just passed her driving test and was feeling a bit nervous already. The incident happened in Morningside on a Sunday evening. She was just trying to get out of the way when the driver behind her started honking like crazy.
Feeling confused, she decided to pull over onto Maxwell Street, hoping the guy would just keep going. But instead, he zoomed past her and blocked her car, then jumped out and started yelling at her.
Before she knew it, he turned around and punched her windscreen, leaving it all shattered. She was left feeling really scared and unsure of what to do next.
Police Scotland confirmed they got a report about the vandalism that evening and are looking into it. It’s a reminder that road rage can escalate quickly and leave people shaken up.
