Two suspects arrested after a brazen ramraid at a petrol station in Nottinghamshire
Nottinghamshire: So, there was this wild incident at a petrol station in Mansfield. Two guys decided to ramraid the place, and it all went down around midnight on January 8. They drove a car right into the kiosk at the Tesco Extra store. Can you believe that?
The police got the call and rushed over. When they arrived, they found the door smashed and the two suspects trying to grab some cigarettes. But guess what? They didn’t get away with anything because the alarms went off, and they bolted on foot.
Detectives are on it, checking out the CCTV footage and doing some digging around the area. They’ve already nabbed two men, aged 28 and 49, on suspicion of burglary. Detective Sergeant Elina Falcon from the local police said they take these kinds of raids seriously and want to reassure the community.
She mentioned how upsetting this must have been for the staff and locals. The investigation is still rolling, and they’re asking anyone with info or footage to reach out. If you’ve got something to share, don’t hesitate to call the police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
