London: So, Prince Harry’s court case against the Murdoch papers has been delayed. It was supposed to kick off today, but things got a bit messy. The judge had some concerns, and now they’re pushing it back.

Harry and Lord Tom Watson are suing News Group Newspapers over some serious allegations about unlawful information gathering. The publisher, which also ran the now-defunct News of the World, is denying any wrongdoing.

Harry didn’t even make the trip from California for the first day of the trial. He’s expected to show up next month to give his testimony. The trial was set to start at 10:30 AM but got delayed a couple of times before the judge finally said no to a third request for more time.

The legal teams were in intense negotiations, and they thought they were close to a resolution. But the judge wasn’t having it, stating they had enough time to sort things out. He made it clear that the trial should proceed as planned.

Even though the judge refused the request for more time, he did say that if the parties wanted to appeal, they could go to the Court of Appeal. The trial is now set to resume tomorrow morning, and it could last up to ten weeks.
