Craft Republic in Barry is closing its Goodsheds location but moving to a new spot in 2025, promising an exciting future for patrons
Barry: So, guess what? Craft Republic, that super popular bar at Goodsheds, is closing up shop. But don’t worry, they’ve got some exciting plans for 2025!
They took to social media to break the news, wanting to keep everyone in the loop before the rumors started flying. They’re moving to a new permanent spot in the Waterfront Development, which is just a hop away from where they are now.
They mentioned they’re in the process of buying the new place, and while it’s not all set in stone yet, they’re really looking forward to sharing more details soon. They’re calling it “Craft 2.0,” and it sounds like they’re pretty pumped about it!
Claire and Tim Whalley, the owners, said they’ve had an amazing five years at Goodsheds. They’re excited about the new bar, which will have views across the dock and a fantastic beer garden. Sounds lovely, right?
For now, though, it’s business as usual at Goodsheds. So, if you’re in the area, you can still enjoy your favorite drinks there until they make the big move. Keep an eye out for updates!
